Located in the resource-rich region of Goma, North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Communauté Minière de Goma (CMG) is a dedicated mining community association committed to sustainable and inclusive development. Specializing in extracting and trading precious resources such as gold, tantalite, copper ore, diamonds, gemstones, cobalt, and more, CMG strives to harness the region’s natural wealth to empower local miners and their families.
At the heart of our mission is the desire to maximize the household income of low-capital miners. By working closely with the local community, CMG fosters ethical practices, provides access to fair markets, and invests in initiatives that improve livelihoods. What We Do
Mineral Resource Mining
Communaute Miniere de Goma is continuously reinforcing its mining operations by bringing more and more areas under operations, targeting a four-fold growth.
Mineral Processing
We have Hydro-metallurgy based facility to manufacture 3000 tonnes Cobalt Hydroxide annually, 30,000 tonnes Copper Cathode annually.
Mineral Market Research
We have employed agents worldwide to search for market for all the minerals produced by Communaute Miniere de Goma and its partners
